Project Summary

Lake Lewis’s world is turned upside down when her archenemies, Felicia Craig, is found dead. Bringing this story of teen angst, mystery, and romance to life was an absolute blast. Ames B. Winterbourne was looking for a cover that captured the thrilling mystery while highlighting the humorous tone of her book. She requested bold graphics for the diary entries, text messages, and reports.

For the cover, I kept the colors bright and fun while hinting at the juicy diary entries awaiting her readers. With the interior formatting, the greatest challenge was making sure the graphics were functional and readable in print and ebook formats.

After lots of careful testing, we created a cover and interior I’m incredibly pleased with! I’m proud to say there’s a copy of Dead Girls Don’t Keep Secrets on my personal bookshelf.
